ID Card Holder Pro

I like the holder a lot, it’s sturdy and elevates the entire dorky look of having to wear a badge. Love the retractable cord, and I’m confident that it’s not going to break with daily use from constantly traveling up and down restricted access floors. It only scans properly on the clear side, but not a big deal. Slightly more annoying is that it picks up the dye from dark clothing and already looks grubby (my fault for getting the light color). Would be great if it came in other darker colors that aren’t black. The thing that really bothers me is that the metal clip on the end of the retractable cord spins without any way to tighten. I clip it to my belt loop or pocket edge, and when I stand up/sit down it spins and the whole thing falls off. Very annoying. Luckily it’s heavy enough that I hear it fall and can pick it up off the floor and reattach without getting trapped somewhere.

Recently switched from a bag to a backpack, which meant my frequently-used cards were further away from reach than I was used to. Bough this card holder around a month ago and it has helped so much, as having my work ID, transit card and credit card on my body helps me feel less anxious than having them on my backpack where I might get pick-pocketed and not notice until later. If I switch back to a bag I can just leave the belt hook and lanyard at home and carry the card holder by itself. The materials feel premium and the stitching is gorgeous — it's been a great addition to my everyday carry.

Does what you expect which is to be a I’d holder. It’s high quality so you don’t have to worry about it snagging and such. I’ve broken a lot of these type of holders but this one feels like it’s going to last a very long time.
