Corporate Sales Manager

The Story:

Here at Orbitkey, we’re all about organisation – clever, innovative, intentional, and beautiful organisational accessories designed to help people live better lives.

Founded in 2013 by 2 friends with 1 simple idea, Orbitkey has since grown into a passionate and dedicated team of 31 based in Melbourne, Australia.

We might be a small and young company, but we’re committed to finding better ways of doing business. As a Climate Neutral Certified brand, we reduce, measure and offset 100% of our carbon footprint.

We value a diverse and inclusive workplace and love helping our team grow and thrive.

So if you love all things organisation and design, and want to work with a growing and tight-knit team, we’d love to hear from you and have you join the family!

The Role:

As our Corporate Sales Manager, you will be responsible for connecting with new and existing customers from around the world, and helping them to find unique product solutions that best suit their brand.

Working alongside our design team you will help to create bespoke branding solutions for corporate clients looking to place bulk orders.

As the head of our corporate sales initiative, you will have the opportunity to refine our ever-developing corporate sales channel and backend processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • With the help of the sales, marketing and design team, you will be developing a business gifting experience that will leave a lasting impression on our clients/customers.
  • Responding to filtered custom order enquiries that come through via various channels (website, social media, trade shows, resellers etc.)
  • Following up on leads and moving them through the sales funnel.
  • Project manage the custom orders and liaise with our design and logistics teams to deliver great quality outcomes on time.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to identify and generate new custom order leads.
  • Attending weekly sales meetings and reporting on the progress of the corporate gifting sales initiatives.
  • You will have the opportunity to travel, set up and exhibit at trade shows, as well as meet and work with many different organisations.
  • Consistently looking for ways to improve and providing feedback to the design and marketing team on how we can improve our corporate gifting sales deck and funnel.
  • Managing custom order partners and distributors worldwide.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine interest in helping people: You genuinely want to provide solutions that will help their customers and team be more organised.
  • Great communication skills. You walk in the shoes of our customers; whether they are small-medium businesses or publicly listed global companies. You understand that in order to best serve them, we need to listen attentively to their needs and suggestions and tailor your communications accordingly.
  • Ability to take constructive criticism. To adapt and strategize your offering to add value and exceed the expectations of our customers.
  • Self-motivation and thirst for a good challenge. You’ve had some experience with corporate sales, but you’re looking for an opportunity to take the lead and build something from the ground up.
  • To be a team player. When it comes to working in a team, you know what your roles involve, but you’re willing to go beyond the job description to help other team members to work towards the company’s goal and mission.
  • To contribute to building a positive culture in our company.
